Over 10years ago I was asked by a friend if I could help her decorate her house before she advertised it for sale.  Well I  obviously said yes, couldn’t let her down but I have always hated painting walls and skirting boards.  We got the job done over 5 days, it looked great apart from the old mahogany furniture, it really spoiled the look.  Off to the local DIY store we popped, returned with some chalk paint and gold spray paint, I was blown away by the transformation, the furniture looked awesome.  That was me hooked.  I travelled the six hours home, went to our local auction that evening and bought my first three pieces of furniture and the rest is history.
